Recently my husband and I had a furnace issue, so I called around to 3 different places in Quesnel, as soon as they opened as it was a rather chilly night .The Great Indoors called me back within the hour to let me know Devon the tech was on his way,Devon was polite and understanding ,he figured out the problem right away and then went and got the part.meanwhile I proceeded to call the 2 other places back to let them know I had gotten some one.One place was very nice and thanked me for getting back to them.however the other company abruptly said ok and hung up ,so needless to say I will never be calling that company. I was coming from a very bad experience with a different local company and I was blown away by the expertise, professionalism and knowledge of Rodney who came to fix my furnace. He literally found the problem and checked with his equipment to confirm he was correct and was gone back to the store to find the part in 8 minutes. The part was not locally available so there was a small gap before he was able to fix it but I was super impressed at all the aspects of the service. He was very knowledgeable, very efficient, up front about costs, and willing to take the time to explain the repair. I am convinced this is an excellent company and I will be calling them for any repairs and maintenance in my future. Last year at this time, we moved into our new house. One night I woke up to the floors too hot to walk on and the thermostat saying 38 degrees and climbing. I ran downstairs to find the the furnace room blistering hot and hard to breathe with the furnace rumbling away. My husband was at work so I turned the furnace switch off and called The Great Outdoors the next morning explaining what happened. They came over that day and it turned out that there was a contained fire in our furnace and if I wasn't home our house could have burned down. My husband and I both work shift work and this easily could have happened.
After seeing the damage, the crew showed me and called in Cameron to assess what happened and he explained everything. We were given every possible option to repair the old furnace we had or buy new. We decided to go new and upgrade to 'He' and didn't feel pressured whatsoever to do so. Cameron and the crew were very patient with our million questions and pondering. With the size of the house we have we decided to go with the middle of the range Lennox furnace, Lennox air conditioner and new hot water tank so we didn't risk another disaster when we weren't home and have a peace of mind with our kids at home as well. With the install, the crew were very respectful of our home and very respectful to us. They informed us with every step of the way and did the whole install within a few days. This spring they came back to install our air conditioner. Again, Cameron was very involved with the crew's install and the crew again were very respectful and knowledgeable. We were so pleased with the first emergent call to the very last day of the install. The customer service was hands down one of the best we've ever experienced. We are very proud to have these guys in our small community. We are very fortunate. Today I can say our heating bill has been cut to less than half. 4200 sq foot house now costs $112 to heat a month in the coldest months and less than that to cool in the summer months. We've had no issues whatsoever with our system and our touch-pad remote thermostat is a definite conversation piece for people coming over. We absolutely love the product and have a piece of mind knowing the Lennox system is running this house. Which by the way is whisper quiet. We don't even know its on! We recommend The Great Outdoors HVAC company to anyone! If your ever wondering who to go with These guys are top shelf and won't be disappointed! The whole crew starting from the front desk are very professional, very knowledgeable and very speedy! Your home is in good hands.

Very Happy With The Service They Provided Us. Great Team!
We have worked with The Great Indoors HVAC company in the past so they were the first company we called when we had a bit of a leak near one of our pump lines. They were able to come out the next day to figure out what was going on and let us know that they would only be able to provide us with a temporary fix. They patched up the leak for the time being and referred us to a different company that could complete the job. They were very informative and honest with us throughout the process. As of now, everything is working fine and we haven't had any issues since.

Excellent Experience!
This was my first time using The Great Indoors HVAC Company. When I called, the receptionist scheduled someone out right away which was good for me because I am a single mother and I work different shifts. Cameron who came out did a very thorough investigation to try to find what was going on with my HVAC system. Turns out it was a thermostat issue and he ended up replacing it. He was very patient in explaining to me everything I needed to know and he double checked everything while he was there. I liked it that he didn't act rushed or impatient to get on to the next call. He talked with me about a maintenance service agreement which was an option for saving money on any repairs I may have in the future. He was not pushy with this he simply presented it in a way that was fair and informative! I did sign up with them for the maintenance agreement and thus far have been pleased with that as well. Everything is up and running great and I do appreciate the time he took making sure it was perfect!
